IPL 6: Agarwal falls, RCB two down

CHENNAI: Chennai spinner R Ashwin struck just after Bangalore crossed 50-mark to give them second blow in the ninth over in their IPL clash on Saturday.

Scorecard

Dhoni was quick to stump Agarwal (25) after his 45-run stand with Virat Kohli for the second wicket.

Pacer Chris Morris gave Chennai early breakthrough by getting Chris Gayle (4) caught by MS Dhoni in the second over after Bangalore were invited to bat.

Morris's good length got Gayle's edge before going straight into Dhoni's gloves.

Bangalore have made three changes to their side, bringing in Ravi Rampaul, Dan Christian and left-arm spinner Syed Mohammad in place of Muttiah Muralitharan, Moises Henriques and Lokesh Rahul.

For Chennai, Mohit Sharma replaced Ankit Rajput in the playing XI.

Both sides come into their 'Super Saturday' clash following convincing wins and the focus will be on building momentum in these early stages of the tournament.

RCB have won their last two games and will be looking to maintain that run while CSK, keen to shed their slow starters tag after losing their opening game, bounced back with a comprehensive 10-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab.
