IPL 6: Bangalore lose Chris Gayle early

CHENNAI: Pacer Chris Morris gave Chennai early breakthrough by getting Chris Gayle (4) caught by MS Dhoni in the second over after Bangalore were invited to bat in their IPL clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday.

Morris's good length got Gayle's edge before going straight into Dhoni's gloves.

Bangalore replaced Muttiah Muralitharan, Moises Henriques and KL Rahul with Ravi Rampaul, Dan Christian and left-arm spinner Syed Mohammad.

For Chennai, Mohit Sharma replaced Ankit Rajput in the playing XI.

Both sides come into their 'Super Saturday' clash following convincing wins and the focus will be on building momentum in these early stages of the tournament.

RCB have won their last two games and will be looking to maintain that run while CSK, keen to shed their slow starters tag after losing their opening game, bounced back with a comprehensive 10-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab.
