SHARJAH: Sri Lanka were bowled out for 214 in their second innings on the fifth and final day of the third and last Test, setting Pakistan a daunting victory target of 302.
Sri Lanka were dismissed after lunch was delayed by 15 minutes, meaning Pakistan have 59 overs to chase the target and level the series.
Sri Lanka won the second Test in Dubai by nine wickets while the first Test ended in a draw.
Sri Lanka lost skipper Angelo Mathews for 31 after resuming on 133/5 and then Prasanna Jayawardene for 49.
Left arm spinner Abdul Rehman was the pick of the bowlers with 4/56, while paceman Mohammad Talha had figures of 3/65 and Saeed Ajmal took 3/53.
