Nothing seemed to be going Knight Riders' way as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Das (18) was the latest batsman to walk back to the pavilion after he edged an Ashish Nehra delivery to wicket-keeper Kedar Jadhav.

Jacques Kallis (12) was caught brilliantly by Ben Rohrer off the bowling of Irfan Pathan while attempting hit the ball over point.

Earlier, Shahbaz Nadeem struck to dismiss Eoin Morgan (10) when the Kolkata batsman was caught by Umesh Yadav soon after Morne Morkel extended out-of-form Yusuf Pathan's misery.

Morkel dismissed the Baroda batsmen, who failed to middle the delivery and edged it. The ball went quite high and was caught by Yusuf's brother Irfan.

Yusuf Pathan had failed to score a fifty since joining the defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders.

Delhi Daredevils pacers bowled beautifully to remove the Kolkata Knight Riders openers.

Knight Riders were in early trouble after losing their openers -- Manvinder Bisla and Gautam Gambhir -- who failed to add much to the scoreboard.

Umesh Yadav bowled a disciplined line and pitched up the ball to Bisla (4) who missed the shot and was bowled out.

Previously, Irfan Pathan had dealt a severe blow to the Kolkata Knight Riders when he ran out skipper Gambhir for naught.

Bisla called for a suicidal run during Irfan's second ball to which Gambhir responded. But the KKR skipper was not fast enough and was run out without even facing a ball.

This was Gambhir's third consecutive failure in this year's IPL.

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders had won the toss and elected to bat against Delhi Daredevils.

While Delhi made no changes to their line-up, Kolkata made two major changes. Brett Lee comes in for New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum and Shami Ahmed gives his place to Sumit Narwal.

While Daredevils have lost seven out of their nine games, KKR are not too far behind having lost six games out of nine.

The one thing that has been ailing both the teams is the performance of their Indian players which has definitely played a big role in their poor show in the million dollar league so far.
