India's dominance in World Cup 2015 continued as the defending champions defeated Bangladesh by 109 runs for their 11th straight win in cricket's biggest stage. This was the team's seventh straight win in World Cup 2015 and the defending champions will now face the winner of the quarterfinal between Australia and Pakistan.

After scoring 302, courtesy a fluent 137 from Rohit Sharma, Indian bowlers dominated the chase from the word go to bring down the spirited Bangladeshis. The eventual triumph was celebrated with vigour by players and fans alike - especially as it was captain MS Dhoni's 100th win as ODI captain. This is the most by a non-Australian in a list which has Ricky Ponting (165 wins) and Allan Border (107 wins). Former South Africa captain Hansie Cronje and New Zealand skipper and current coach of Chennai Super Kings Stephan Fleming had 99 and 98 wins, respectively. (Team India's Road to the Semifinals )

It has indeed been a dominant performance from the world champions - led by an able general who now has a win percentage of 70% in ODIs. With bowlers firing on all cylinders - bowling out an opposition for the seventh straight time - and batsmen raking up the runs, Dhoni and his men are on course for more glory Down Under.
