The Test may have begun on a slightly somber note but the rivalry between Australia and India has taken over prominence. Over the first four days, both teams have fought hard and there has not been much to separate them. While David Warner hit two tons, India captain Virat Kohli showed tourists too can stand up tall against pace and bounce. With a result likely on the final day, the hosts would look to bat their way to a strong total and return to put pressure on the Indians and force a win. Catch live updates here. Warner has been the champion of the Adelaide Test over the four days. With memories of mate Phillip Hughes' death still fresh, he let his bat pay the biggest tribute by hitting back-to-back centuries. The two knocks have positioned Australia nicely against a determined Indian side.
The Indians have not bowled too shabbily however. The pacers have persisted on a good line and length but the batting has fought back bravely. In fact, the spin of Karn Sharma has found a crack here and there and the young debutant has three wickets in the match to show for his efforts so far.
As with most hotly contested matches between the two teams, words have been exchanged frequently. On Day 4 - Friday - Shikhar Dhawan and pacer Varun Aaron got into an altercation of sorts with Warner.
At the end of Saturday though, only one team is likely to celebrate and the 'harsh' words spoken on the field would come to nothing.
