Ghaziabad: Legendary cricketer and Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar attended the 82nd anniversary celebration of the Indian Air Force at Hindon base on Wednesday. The first person to be conferred with the honourary title of Group Captain - in 2010, Tendulkar was seen in the Air Force uniform and was accompanied by wife Anjali.

Conferred with the honourary title for his achievements in cricket, Tendulkar was seen interacting with Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan and Army chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag. (More pics )
Tendulkar was the first to be given a Group Captain's rank despite no aviation experience.
