Zimbabwe bowler Prosper Utseya and Bangladesh spinner Sohag Gazi were banned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from bowling in international matches after their actions were found to be illegal.

The latest suspensions come close on the heels of Saeed Ajmal's ban by the world governing body. West Indian mystery spinner Sunil Narine was also reported twice during the Champions League Twenty20, where he was playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Utseya was reported with a suspected illegal bowling action during his side's seven-wicket loss in the third and final ODI against South Africa in Bulawayo back in August. (Bowl within the rules: Muralitharan to cricketers )

The match officials' report, which was handed over to Zimbabwe team manager Stanley Chioza on Thursday after the match, cited concerns regarding Utseya's arm ball and fast delivery.

Two days later, Gazi was reported with a suspected illegal bowling action during his side's 177 runs loss in the second ODI against the West Indies in Grenada.

This is a massive jolt for both teams ahead of the World Cup as both bowlers formed a crucial cog in the attack.
