London: Wearing a splint on his broken nose, Stuart Broad joined in a practice session with England on Thursday ahead of the fifth and final Test of the series against India at The Oval.
Broad sustained his injury on the final day of the fourth Test Saturday when he was hospitalized after edging a bouncer by India paceman Varun Aaron between the grille and peak of his helmet and into his face.

On Thursday, he faced no pace in a batting practice - only spin bowling and throw-downs - but bowled at full pace without any apparent discomfort.
The fifth Test starts Friday, with England 2-1 ahead in the series.
