BJP General Secretary Amit Shah Set to Become BCCI Vice-President From West Zone: Sources


BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is president of the Gujarat Cricket Association currently. GCA Vice-President Amit Shah has held several cricket posts in the past too.



Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary and Gujarat Cricket Association vice-president Amit Shah will replace Mumbai Cricket Association's Ravi Savant as the BCCI's vice-president from West Zone during an annual general body meeting in September, according to sources. GCA Vice-President Shah has held several cricket posts in the past too.


BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is president of the Gujarat Cricket Association currently.




GCA joint secretary Rajesh Patel said Shah is set for a move to the BCCI and has completed all formalities. "Shah is eligible for a vice-president's post in the BCCI. He has attended two BCCI annual general body meetings," Patel said.
