Anamul (100) hit 6 smashing boundaries and 4 immaculate sixes en-route his 2nd ODI century that also saw a stupendous 150-run opening wicket partnership he had with Imrul Kayes.
Both Anamul and Kayes smashed the ball to all parts of the ground to notch up stunning half-centuries and leave Pakistan longing for the first breakthrough.
Haque and Kayes started off slow but accelerated the run-rate to give Bangladesh a momentum after their skipper Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and decided to bat.
However, Mohammad Talha finally succeeded in giving Pakistan their first breakthrough when he had Kayes (59) caught behind by Umar Akmal.
Anamul then continued the onslaught with Mominul Haque as the duo put up a quick-fire 54-run partnership for the second wicket that saw Bangladesh cross the 200-run mark just before the 40th over.
Soon after, Saeed Ajmal came to Pakistan's rescue as he dismissed Anamul to give Pakistan their second scalp before Mominul hit a rapid half-century to put Bangladesh on top against Pakistan.
Mominul also put up a 45-run partnership with Rahim for the third wicket that allowed Bangladesh to surge ahead towards posting a massive total.
Ajmal then picked up his second wicket when he had Mominul (51) caught by Mohammad Hafeez at a time when Pakistan bowling attack looked completely clueless.
However, that prompted flamboyant all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (44* off 16) to come out to the crease who along with Rahim (51* off 33) enthralled the fans by punishing Pakistani bowlers with some aggressive batting to set a massive 327-run target.
