While Kock made 121-ball-135, studded with eighteen boundaries and three magnificent sixes, de Villers scored 77 off just 47 balls and Duminy stayed unbeaten at 59.
Opener Hashim Amla also chipped in with a brilliant 65 and shared a solid 152-run opening stand, with de Kock after being invited to bat by India skipper MS Dhoni.
Indian attack appeared toothless against the Proteas prowess. They reeled for 29 overs to get their maiden breakthrough before Mohammed Shami provided one by scalping Amla in the 30th over.
Shami repeated the act in the 33rd over by getting rid of Jacques Kallis (10) at the score of 172. However, India failed capitalize on the twin blow and conceded too many runs in slog overs.
Kock mauled the listless Indian attack and scored second ton of his ODI career. He showed no mercy to the visitors during his 171 minute stay before part-timer Virat Kohli took a simple return catch to get rid of him at the score of 247.
De Villers and Duminy then took went for a kill and crushed the Indian bowling with their brutal onslaught. While de Villers reached his half-ton in 38 balls, Duminy got his fifty in 25 deliveries.
