Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath got rid of England skipper Alastair Cook (59) after a solid 83-run stand for the second wicket with Trott.

Eranga got Bell caught by Kusal Perera at mid-wicket after his 20-run knock off 37 balls.
Cook and Bell got England off to a slow start as the hosts scored just 38 runs in 10 overs after beings asked to bat.
Though Sri Lanka bowlers failed to get any early breakthrough, they didn't concede too many runs in the first powerplay.
