"Based on the information provided by the authorities, the contracts of all three players have been suspended pending enquiry," Royals chairman Ranjit Barthakur said in a statement.
"We have already filed a complaint with the Delhi Police against all three players earlier today. The security deployment for the team has been expanded, again in close consultation with the BCCI."
The statement iterated that the strongest possible action will be taken against the three players, who have found to have indulged in spot-fixing by the Delhi Police. Barthakur said that they will continue with their "zero-tolerance approach to these terrible actions."
The franchise is in constant touch with police officials at Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur and has assured them of full cooperation. "We have been working closely with the BCCI, and following the meeting with them on Sunday," the statement said.
The Royals squad will leave for New Delhi for their eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday.
