NEW DELHI: Pacer Lasith Malinga gave Mumbai Indians first breakthrough by removing Parthiv Patel after a flying start by Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede stadium.
Patel slammed 14-ball-26 and shared 38-run stand with Shikhar Dhawan before being caught by Rayudu off Malinga in the fourth over.
Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat.
Mumbai replaced Maxwell, Abu Nechim with Pollard, Dhawal. Hyderabad remained unchanged.
