Kolkata spinner Iqbal Abdulla got rid of Dwayne Smith (47) while Rajat Bhatia bowled out Sachin Tendulkar (48).

Bhatia struck in the 13th over to give Kolkata first breakthrough by dismissing Tendulkar after his 28-ball knock, studded with eight boundaries.

In the next over Smith was caught by McLaren off Iqbal at the score of 99.

After opting to bat, Mumbai started slowly as they were just 13 in first three overs. But Tendulkar soon gave his side the momentum by pulling off 20 runs of a McLaren's over.
