The Kolkata Knight Riders will start their preparation for the fifth Indian Premier League season with a preparation-cum-conditioning camp at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
The first phase of the camp will lack star Indian players including skipper Gautam Gambhir, who are busy with their respective states in the domestic Twenty20 championship beginning in Mumbai on Saturday.
Newly-appointed KKR coach Trevor Bayliss would be joining the training camp later.
Day one of the camp would see sports psychologist Dr Rudi Webster among other support staff.
The Knight Riders play their first match of the IPL 5 against Delhi Daredevils on April 5.
