ICC World Cup 2011: Australia vs Canada live cricket score video, Can to bat

Australian cricket team is set to add another win to their unbeaten record in World Cup. Today’s match against Canada will open the chance to finish the pool matches on the top of the table. Australia is the only team which never lost a game in the running event as well as a couple of last editions.

So far the team scored 2 points in each game other than a match against Sri Lanka which was abandoned thanks to rain. And their encounter with Canada is expected to be a final nail on the minnows who have been struggling to make know their presence in the pool.

It the second World Cup encounter between Kangaroos and Canadians since their first clash was back in 1979. Aussies had thrashed the underdogs with an emphatic 7-wicket win on June 16th in Birmingham. The time has passed a lot but both teams keep their same head to head record in the 11th edition WC also.

However, the Australian team seems struggling to keep its supremacy in all walks of the cricket. The past 4 games were not enough to define the defending champions. The bowling department particularly the spinners couldn’t impress the fans while Brett Lee and Shaun Tait keep the heat on the outset of the games. Jason Krejza and Steve Smith are yet to fine tune in the spin-friendly sub-continental tracks.

Therefore Canadians can plan a valiant attack on Aussies as Kenyans did in a thrilling match last day. The minnows shocked the cricket world piling up 264/6 in an unimaginable chasing of Australia's 324-6.  Ponting’s boys will take this match as an opportunity to fix the bugs before rolling into the knock out round.
