International Cricket Council president Mustafa Kamal, who resigned from his post on Wednesday, accused the ICC of being run 'unlawfully' and said that the game of cricket is in danger with "debatable" people at the helm.

Talking exclusively to NDTV in telephonic interview from Dhaka on Wednesday, Kamal slammed former ICC chairman N. Srinivasan without taking his name but indicated him as a 'problematic' character.

"He's a problematic person, debatable character and isn't of sound mind. India should know better", said Kamal.

Srinivasan has been in the news for the wrong reasons in recent times. He was not allowed by the Supreme Court to seek another term as BCCI president in the wake of the IPL 2013 match-fixing and betting scandal.

Kamal, upset at being denied the right to present the World Cup to Australia in Melbourne on Sunday, said the ICC was breaking its constitution and the Melbourne crowd, many of them Bangladeshis, were upset about it.

"It's mandatory for ICC president to hand over World Cup trophy but was still kept out", said Kamal.

Srinivasan, who handed over the trophy to Michael Clarke, was booed by the crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Kamal pointed that out by saying, "The MCG showed what it thought of him. He's brought dis-respect to cricket."

However, the former ICC president denied calling the ICC as the Indian Cricket Council.

"I never said ICC has become Indian Cricket Council. I had said if two bodies become same, will resign", Kamal concluded.
