Indian Premier League: Rajasthan Royals Pacer Kane Richardson Ruled Out

Melbourne: Rajasthan Royals' Australian fast bowler Kane Richardson on Friday ruled himself out from the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for personal reasons. (Complete IPL 2015 coverage |Table | Pics | Schedule)

The right-armer was due to join fellow Australians Shane Watson, Steve Smith, James Faulkner and Ben Cutting at Rajasthan Royals, but announced on Friday that he would not be taking part. (IPL 2015 opening ceremony to be held in Kolkata on April 7)

"Sadly will be missing this years IPL due to personal reasons. Thanks to the @rajasthanroyals for their support. Good luck! #AlwaysARoyal," the 24-year-old wrote on Twitter on Friday. (Yuvraj, Zaheer eye national comebacks via IPL)
