The impasse between two sub-continental cricket powerhouses has finally come to an end after Bangladesh Cricket Board decided to compensate Pakistan Cricket Board for postponing two tours to Pakistan in 2012. BCB president Nazmul Hassan made the announcement after his Pakistani counterparts had set certain conditions for their tour of Bangladesh.

Pakistan will play Bangladesh in two Tests, three ODIs and one T20 International and will arrive in Dhaka on April 13. The schedule for the tour was announced only on April 3, the same day when Hassan decided to pay up a compensation that could range between USD 100,000 and 300,000.

The two boards had been at loggerheads for close to four months over the status of the upcoming tour. Pakistan claimed home rights for the Test and ODI series and Bangladesh were in no mood to relent.

"We have no more conditions with them," Hassan told the media at his residence on Friday. "They first demanded 50% revenue and then said this is their home series. I told them this is our home series. They kept repeating that Bangladesh didn't tour Pakistan. I replied that I don't like listening to this in every meeting.

"ICC has a rule for teams that don't tour a country after agreeing to it. I asked them to let us know how much we are supposed to pay for that tour. It could be between $100,000 to $300,000. Whether they use it for plane fare or not, is their concern. We will make the one-time payment for missing that tour."

The BCB had earlier dismissed PCB's 'unrealistic' demand for 50% of the tour revenue and tours by the Under-19 and A teams.
