Defending champions India continued their winning streak in the World Cup with a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in their final Pool B match at the Eden Park in Auckland.
In front of a noisy crowd, Suresh Raina and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined hands and scripted a record unbeaten fifth wicket partnership of 196 to give India a sixth successive victory in the tournament. (Dhoni's Aura Bigger Than Tendulkar's )
Earlier, Zimbabwe departing captain Brendan Taylor celebrated his last ODI by scoring 138 that helped Zimbabwe post a competitive 287 from 48.5 overs.
India lost four wickets during the chase and ran into heavy weather. Dhoni and Raina however, took India past the line with their mammoth stand. Dhoni remained not out on 85 while Raina was unbeaten on 110.
As the Indian duo exploded at Eden Park, Twitter too, exploded heaping praise on Team India.
