Hamilton: New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum won the toss and decided to bowl in the World Cup Pool A match against Bangladesh at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Friday.
Both teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals, New Zealand with five wins in as many games as table-toppers while Bangladesh won three matches and had one point from a washed-out game against Australia in Brisbane.
Bangladesh are without regular captain Mashrafe Mortaza who is suffering from a soar throat and a calf injury. Shakib Al Hasan leads the team in Mortaza's absence.
As expected, Adam Milne was left out with a shoulder problem and was replaced with left-arm paceman Mitchell McClenaghan in the first change for New Zealand in the tournament.
