"I go by my gut feeling. What I can read from behind the stumps, I tell them in Hindi. It's the best language to communicate. It's not that I am always right but I just go and tell them what I am feeling," Dhoni said in a post-match chat after India routed Ireland in Hamilton on Tuesday. Against Ireland, it was the first time that India played in New Zealand in this World Cup. Their last group match against Zimbabwe on March 14 (Saturday) will be played in Auckland. There is a big possibility that India will play their quarterfinal against Bangladesh in Wellington on March 21.
Dhoni experimented with his part-time bowlers on Tuesday. Off-spinner Suresh Raina bowled his full quota of 10 overs, conceded 40 runs and got a wicket.
In the business-end of the tournament, Dhoni will have to keep all his options open. The process has begun.
