New Zealand team, led by the young Kane Williamson, donated their match fee to the victims of the gruesome Peshawar massacre, where more than 130 Army school children were killed. New Zealand had won the ODI series 3-2 vs Pakistan on Friday.

According to a report on stuff.co.nz, Kiwi pacer Adam Milne donated his US$500 cheque for bowling the fastest ball of a match. The team is also said to have gifted US$2,0000 in prize money for winning the series. Furthermore, each player of the squad is believed to have donated a signed Kiwi journey to the cause alongwith their training kit. (Pak batsman Ahmed Shehzad cries in memory of Peshawar victims)

All the donations were handed over to Pakistan's veteran player Younis Khan.

"New Zealand players and officials have handed over some donations and kit bags to me which will be delivered when I'll go to Peshawar," Younis said.

New Zealand had earlier played a Test match against Pakistan with initials 'P.H.' on their jerseys in a touching tribute to Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes who died after being struck by a bouncer on the head.
