Melbourne: Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will have a further scan on his injured hamstring, putting him in doubt for next week's final Test against India, coach Darren Lehmann said Saturday. (Day 2 Blog )

Marsh was confident he would be passed fit for the fourth Sydney Test, but felt a niggle after running on Boxing Day, Lehmann said.

"He's just not 100 percent with his hamstring. He can still feel it when he's running," the coach said.

"We certainly don't want to take any risks on players. (Clarke Makes Impressive Debut as Commentator )

"It's a case of making sure he's right. We've got a very big summer ahead."

Marsh's strain was his fifth hamstring injury in just over two years.

Batsman Joe Burns made his debut in the Melbourne Test as a replacement for Marsh.
