Spinner Akshar Patel has been named as replacement for all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who will return from Australia due to a shoulder injury.(Nathan Lyon contradicts Dhoni, praises umpires)
While Akshar will be part of the team for the remaining two Tests, Jadeja will undergo a rehabilitation program, a BCCI release said on Monday. Interestingly, the 26-year-old Jadeja did not play in either of the first two Tests and is now the second casualty on tour - pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was previously ruled out due to a left ankle injury. Batsman Shikhar Dhawan was also injured during a net session at Gabba but he came out to bat on Day 4 of the second Test.(Wives to join battered Indian side Down Under, no room for girlfriends)
