Dhaka: Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee while Zimbabwe batsman Hamilton Masakadza received an official reprimand for their behavior during the third one-day international on Wednesday.
Tamim was found guilty of a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct for using abusive language following an incident with Masakadza during the fifth over of the match.
Masakadza showed an indecent reaction to the umpire's decision, after being caught behind while trying a glancing shot.
Tamim admitted the charge and accepted the sanction without a disciplinary hearing.
The fourth of the five-match ODI series between the two sides will be held on Friday with Bangladesh taking an unassailable 3-0 lead following its record 124-run win over Zimbabwe in the third match.
