Abu Dhabi: Looking for a clean sweep of the series, Australia captain George Bailey won the toss and chose to bat against new-look Pakistan in the third and final one-day international on Sunday.
Pakistan replaced out-of-form captain Misbah-ul-Haq with Shahid Afridi after Australia took an unbeatable 2-0 series lead.
Pakistan also dropped Umar Akmal, injured Wahab Riaz and left-arm spinner Raza Hasan from the team which lost the second match by five wickets at Dubai on Friday.
Middle order batsmen Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Amin, along with left-arm fast bowler Sohail Tanvir, got their first chance of the series while Anwar Ali replaced Riaz.
Australia rested key bowlers Mitchell Johnson and Nathan Lyon, who exploited weak Pakistan batting in the previous two matches, and replaced them with Mitchell Starc and Phil Hughes.
