The four-day match between Australia A and India A has ended in a draw in Brisbane on Wednesday. India A finished at 285 for five wickets in their second innings as Ambati Rayudu brought up his century with consecutive sixes before play was called off and the match declared a draw. Naman Ojha, who scored a double century in the first innings, scored his second hundred of the match.

Earlier on Wednesday, Australia A were dismissed for 534 in their first innings following Tuesday's record-breaking 371-run stand between Western Australian teammates Mitchell Marsh and Sam Whiteman. Australia A resumed play Wednesday morning at 522 for nine and put on another 12 runs before Cameron Boyce was caught behind for 27, giving Jasprit Bumrah his five-for (5/132 from 40.1 overs).

Early wickets were needed for the Aussies if a result on the fourth day could be produced and Whiteman provided the first spark, taking a spectacular catch to dismiss Robin Uthappa (15) off the bowling of Ben Cutting (1/50 off 14 overs). Another great piece of keeping down leg-side from Whiteman sent Jiwanjot Singh on his way for 19 as Moises Henriques (1/11 from 5 overs) continued his tidy bowling performance for the match.

A good first session by Australia A was capped with a third wicket. Chadd Sayers trapped captain Manoj Tiwary in front LBW for a duck and India A went to lunch at 64 for three. Sayers (3/48 off 15 overs) struck again straight after lunch with the two quick wickets of Karun Nair (5) and Lokesh Rahul (34) to put India A in trouble at 86 for five wickets.

But first-innings double centurion Naman Ojha (101*) and Rayudu (100*) dug in for India A before a draw was called.
