Preview

Australia, who have won four World Cups but never the ICC World Twenty20, play their last game against Bangladesh today. Both sides will meet in Mirpur with the hope of signing off the tournament on a positive note. Australia and Bangladesh have three losses in as many games so far.

Australia captain admitted Australia's performance in tournament was below par. "This is the most disappointing performance by our team in three years of my captaincy," Australia captain George Bailey said. Australia entered the tournament as an overwhelming favourite.

"We have to be motivated. I think for me personally, the motivation is - I don't like losing, personally. As a team we, don't like losing. I don't like my performance in this tournament. I haven't got five runs," Australia all-rounder Shane Watson said.

Bangladesh have only defeated Australia once in any format. This will be Bangladesh's best chance of breaking a depressing sequence at home and arresting a losing streak. Bangladesh have been beaten by 73 runs, eight wickets and 50 runs in its three Super 10 matches.

Bangladesh medium pacer Mashrafe Mortaza has been ruled out of today's match after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's game against Pakistan.
