Brett Lee has married for the second time, wedding Lana Anderson after just one year.
Reports say Lee tied the knot for the second time in a private ceremony at his new home in Seaforth, New South Wales last weekend. The 37-year-old quickie was previously married to Elizabeth Kemp in 2006. They separated in 2008. The couple has a son, Preston.
According to a report in The Daily Telegraph Lee and Anderson, 29, went public with their new romance last August, attending a fundraiser at Le Montage in Lilyfield, New South Wales.
They refused to be photographed together on the media wall but were snapped kissing and holding hands inside. The pair is believed to have moved in together at the end of last year.
A regular in the Indian Premier League till last year, Lee has not been picked by any team this year.
The veteran, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2013, has been candid enough to admit that at 37, he did not see himself as a player for whom the franchisees would engage in a bidding war.
"I wanted to give it a crack and see how it goes but look, I am not getting any younger. At 37, I have had more comebacks than Rambo," he laughed when asked about his thoughts on going unsold.
