'Will give up my shares if found guilty'

NEW DELHI: Facing heat over Supreme Court-appointed Committee's report, Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra today said that he will give up shares in the IPL team if any wrongdoing was found on his part.

"If an iota of wrongdoing is found from my side I will give up my share," said Kundra after a report of the three-member committee headed by former Punjab and Haryana Chief Justice Mukul Mudgal was presented to the Supreme Court today.

The report said the allegation of betting and spot fixing against Kundra need further investigation.

"They (Delhi Police) have taken four months. Let's wait for some more time. We have been supporting them. We have no issues," he said.

"They have obviously gone for the lowest hanging fruit and that's unfortunate," he added.

The committee has indicted Gurunath Meiyappan for betting and passing of team information during IPL matches that has come as a major embarrassment for his father-in-law and BCCI President N Srinivasan and could threaten Chennai Super Kings' continuance.
