Back at the same ground and against the same opposition, although in coloured clothing, Shikhar reminisced the knock and also sent a warning signal to the Aussies.
"I have great memories here. I made my debut at this ground and got a century. That knock is still fresh in my mind. It feels it was just the other day when I scored that century," Dhawan recalled.
"This ground has been lucky for me. I would like to repeat the same things and score another century," he added. When asked what change has he brought into his game, Shikhar said that his battling style and skills are still the same, however, now he has become mentally tougher.
"I feel the change is more in the mind, skills are same," he pointed out. "I have become mature as a batsman and I value my wicket more. I am hungry for runs. I have changed some things in the nets, my concentration is much better now," he said.
Talking about the last game, where India chased down 360 with 6.3 overs to spare, Dhawan said, "Earlier we have chased big targets. The idea was to just play ball by ball, and just go out there and enjoy."
