Jaipur gears up for Sachin's 'swansong'

JAIPUR: Saturday could well be the last time that Sachin Tendulkar steps into the Sawai Mansingh Stadium ground for a competitive game of cricket.

Provided of course, Mumbai Indians do reach the semifinals of the Champions League T20 and even if they do, they do not play that game here.

RCA president CP Joshi, a Congress strongman from the state, will not be available on the day. The RCA is hoping that Mumbai Indians reach the semifinals and play the match here (on October 4).

If that happens, it will be Tendulkar's last competitive game here and Joshi will also be available to lead the felicitations.
