NEW DELHI: Incessant rain has delayed the toss of Mumbai Indians-Otago Volts clash of the Champions League at the Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad on Monday.
The previous match of the day between Lions and Perth was abandoned without a ball being bowled after the toss.
Otago Volts are high on confidence after three consecutive wins in the qualifiers. Their strong wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad (by 5 wkts), Kanurata Maroons (by 6 wkts) and Faisalabad Wolves (by 8 wkts) have given them the momentum.
MI, on the other hand, have some catching up to do after their seven-wicket loss to the Royals.
