While Finch scored a quickfire 52 off 34 balls (three boundaries and four sixes), Wright made 44 in 23 balls.
Robin Uthappa and Angelo Mathews chipped in with 24 and 30 not out respectively.
Wright and Mathews shared 72 run partnership in 37 balls for the fifth wicket, before Wright was dismissed by Siddharth Kaul in the final over, helping the side set a challenging target for the visitors.
Umesh Yadav gave Delhi Daredevils first breakthrough by scalping Robin Uthappa (24) after a brisk start by Pune Warriors.
Uthappa shared 38-run stand with Aaron Finch after Pune elected to bat. He was caught by Warner off Yadav in the sixth over.
At the score of 74, Nadeem bowled out Manish Pandey, giving second jolt to the hosts. Pandey made 10.
Finch, meanwhile, carried on with his onslaught and reached his fifty in 31 balls. However, just after reaching his half-ton Finch succumbed to Kaul at the score of 91 in the 12th over.
Finch scored a 31-ball 50 with the helped of three fours and four sixes.
Very soon Irfan Pathan inflicted fourth blow on Pune by removing Yuvraj Singh (3) and reduced Pune to 97/4.
Delhi Daredevils brought in Bharat Chipli for their final game while Ashok Dinda came in back for Pandey for Pune.
The loser of the game will face the embarrassment of finish last in the points table.
It will be the final league engagement for both sides. Both have won just three games and the outcome will decide the basement position.
