Pune Warriors India's pacer dismissed Manvinder Bisla and Jacques Kallis in his successive overs to jolt Kolkata Knight Riders chase.

Ishwar Pandey increased Knight Riders' woes by dismissing skipper Gautam Gambhir to leave the defending champions tottering at 29/3 in 4.4 overs.

Parnell struck in his first over to give Kolkata first blow by removing Bisla and then scalped compatriot Kallis to put Pune on top.

Earlier, Manish Pandey (66 off 47 balls) and Aaron Finch (48 off 32) helped Pune Warriors India post a stiff 171-run target for Kolkata Knight Riders.

Yuvraj Singh also played nice cameo, smacking three sixes in his 20-ball 30 before being dismissed on the last delivery of the innings.

Pandey, who was also removed in the last over, scored his first fifty of the season that saw eight fours and a six.

Skipper Finch led Pune Warriors from the front with fine knock. KKR pacer Lakshmipathy Balaji ended Pune's skipper brisk knock that included three huge sixes and two fours.

The quick-fire 56-run stand between Finch and Manish Pandey helped Warriors gain the momentum.

Pandey also joined the party after Finch's dismissal as he smashed three boundaries in a row off Jacques Kallis to lead Warriors.

Sachithra Senanayake struck to give Kolkata Knight Riders first breakthrough as he dismissed Pune Warriors India's Robin Uthappa.
