NEW DELHI: Both Mike Hussey and Suresh Raina slammed fifty each, setting up for a huge total for Chennai Super Kings against hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday.

While Hussey's half-ton came off 32 balls, Raina reached the figure facing 35 balls. Raina's fifty guided Chennai to 152/1 in 16 overs.

Hyderabad pacer Thisara Perera got Murali Vijay (29) caught behind to give Chennai first blow after a solid start.

Vijay slammed three sixes during his 20-ball knock and shared 45 run-stand with Mike Hussey for the first wicket after Chennai were invited to bat.

Hyderabad have made no changes to their side. Chennai, on the other hand, have one difference to their team as Jason Holder came back in place of Ben Laughlin.

It remains to be seen if the Super Kings have recovered sufficiently enough to put it across the hosts, who have been at their best on this slow pitch.

The Sunrisers have thrived in home conditions, pulling off five consecutive wins. Their rivals have been unable so far to figure out a strategy to counter the potent Hyderabad attack.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: PA Patel, S Dhawan, KC Sangakkara*, GH Vihari, NLTC Perera, DJG Sammy, A Ashish Reddy, KV Sharma, A Mishra, DW Steyn, I Sharma

Chennai Super Kings: MEK Hussey, M Vijay, SK Raina, S Badrinath, MS Dhoni*, RA Jadeja, DJ Bravo, CH Morris, R Ashwin, JO Holder, MM Sharma
