While Gilchrist made 42 off 26 balls, Marsh chipped in with 44-ball-45. Miller stayed unbeaten after scoring 44 off 24 balls.
Rajagopal Sathish also made a decent contribution pulling off 22 in 13 balls.
For Delhi Ashish Nehra claimed two wickets while Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel claimed one wicket each.
Pathan gave Delhi first success by removing Punjab skipper Adam Gilchrist after a solid 60-run opening stand.
Pathan struck in the eighth over to take a brilliant return catch of Gilchrist after his fiery knock of 42 that came off just 26 deliveries and was studded with five boundaries and two sixes.
Ashish Nehra inflicted second blow on Punjab by getting Azhar Mahmood (9) caught by Kaul with scorecard reading 86.
Morkel didn't allow Marsh to reach his half-ton as the pacer got him caught at long on by Irfan Pathan after his fighting knock of 45.
Marsh was dismissed at the score of 120 in the 17th over.
Delhi made three changes, bringing in Morne Morkel, Jayawardene and CM Gautam. Punjab have brought in Praveen Kumar.
