NW DELHI: Skipper Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh guided Punjab past 50-mark in the seventh over after losing Mandeep Singh early against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL clash.

Rajasthan spinner Ajit Chandila struck in the first over to take a simple return catch of Mandeep Singh after Punjab were invited to bat.

Mandeep failed to even get off the mark.

It's billed as a match between one man in sublime touch versus a team which is packed with in-form players who are maximizing their potential to the hilt.
