IPL 6: CSK off to a brisk start vs MI

NEW DELHI: Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier of the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League at Ferozeshah Kotla stadium on Monday.

Sachin Tendulkar will again miss the game for Mumbai as he is yet to recover from a sprain in his hand. Mumbai have made wholesome changes for the crucial match.

They have brought in Dwayne Smith, Mitchell Johnson, Munaf Patel and Prgyan Ojha, leaving out Glenn Maxwell, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rishi Dhawan and Nathan Coulter-Nile.

There is only change for Chennai with Albie Morkel taking place of Jason Holder.

Chennai Super Kings: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (C), Mike Hussey, Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, S Badrinath, Chris Morris, R Ashwin, Albie Morkel and Mohit Sharma.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (C), Dwayne Smith, Aditya Tare, Amabti Rayudu, Dinesh Karthik, Kieron Pollard, Mitchel Johnson, Harbhajan Singh, Munaf Patel, Lasith Malinga and Pragyan Ojha.
