Ravi Rampaul gave Bangalore first breakthrough as he removed Shane Watson in the third over with just ten runs on board after Rajasthan were invited to bat.
Rampaul got Watson (6) caught by Murali Kartik at mid-off.
Bangalore have brought in RP Singh and Dilshan in place of KL Rahul and Andrew McDonald. Shaun Tait and Sreesanth make the cut in Royals squad.
