IPL 6: KXIP lose Mandeep Singh early

NEW DELHI: Ishant Sharma gave Hyderabad first breakthrough by sending back Punjab's Mandeep Singh in the third over after visitors elected to bat in the IPL clash on Friday.

Mandeep (10) was caught behind at the score of 15.

Cameron White is leading Hyderabad in the absence of Kumar Sangakkara.

Kings XI Punjab brought in Mascarenhas and Paul Valthaty while Akshath Reddy replaced Parthiv Patel in Hyderabad squad.

SRH will look to maintain their all-win record at the venue before they head into a week's break.

Out of the four games so far, Gilchrist & Co have won two and lost two. But the worrying factor is that neither their wins were comprehensive nor the losses narrow. KXIP have a lot of loose ends to tie up in this tournament.
