IPL 6: Delhi lose Jayawardene early

NEW DELHI: Praveen Kumar got Delhi Daredevils skipper Mahela Jayawardene caught by David Hussey in the first over after Kings XI Punjab elected to bowl in the IPL clash at Kotla.

Jayawardene was dismissed after scoring just a boundary.

Kings XI replaced Azhar Mahmood, Manpreet Gony and Gurkeerat Singh with Luke Pomersbach, Harmeet Singh and Bhargav Bhatt. Delhi, on the other hand, brought in Johan Botha, Ashish Nehra and Juneja.

Both teams are high on confidence after sensational victories in their respective matches.

Delhi, too long without a win, finally got going against Mumbai Indians and the Kings also pulled off a superb victory over Pune Warriors.

Of course, in the course of the tournament, the Kings have fared better than the Devils - they have three wins to their credit in comparison to Delhi's one, which came about through Virender Sehwag's unbeaten knock of 95.
