Bangalore: When Canada was selected to play in this World Cup 2011, cricket experts had expected the team to raise its game. But once again Canada has failed to put up an impressive performance.
It is a sad story for a team that had first played its international match 1844 is yet to grow. According to cricket historians Canada that was a British province had made its debut on a positive note by defeating the United States by 22 runs.

Now, it faces a difficult task against Australia in a Group A match to be held on Wednesday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Will it be able to upset Australia as the Ireland did it to England? On the other hands the Australians are full of confident to sail through.
After losing the Ashes against England they have bounced back in the ODI serried by completely whitewashing England 6-1. The Australians that had won three World Cup titles are aiming high this time around. They want to win this time also. Can they repeat their earlier performance?
